Peer Review & Plagiarism Policies

Peer Review Policy

Objective: The peer review process aims to maintain high academic standards and ensure the quality and integrity of the research published in our journal. Each manuscript submitted will be evaluated by experts in the relevant field to ensure its validity, originality, and significance.

Review Process

  1. Initial Screening: Manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editorial team for adherence to submission guidelines and suitability for the journal.

  2. Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the subject matter. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and lack of conflicts of interest.

  3. Reviewer Confidentiality: Reviewers are required to keep the manuscript confidential and should not discuss or share the content with anyone other than the editorial team.

  4. Reviewer Objectivity: Reviewers must provide objective, unbiased feedback and base their evaluations on the manuscript's scientific merit and relevance, without personal bias or conflicts of interest.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  1. Timeliness: Reviewers should complete their reviews within the agreed timeframe.

  2. Constructive Feedback: Reviews should offer constructive criticism to help authors improve their manuscripts.

  3. Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from reviewing if a conflict exists.

Editorial Decision

  1. Outcome: Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions: accept, revise (major or minor), or reject the manuscript.

  2. Appeals: Authors may appeal decisions by providing a detailed response to the reviewers' comments. Appeals are reviewed by the editorial board.

Plagiarism Policy

Definition: Plagiarism is the presentation of another person's work, ideas, or expressions as one's own without proper acknowledgment. This includes copying text, images, data, or ideas without appropriate citation.

Prevention and Detection

  1. Submission Screening: All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using advanced plagiarism detection software before peer review.

  2. Editorial Vigilance: The editorial team monitors and investigates any suspected cases of plagiarism.

Consequences of Plagiarism

  1. Minor Plagiarism: If minor plagiarism is detected (e.g., unintentional or insufficiently cited text), authors will be asked to correct the issue and resubmit the manuscript.

  2. Major Plagiarism: Serious cases of plagiarism (e.g., substantial copying of text or data, or fraudulent claims of originality) will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript. The journal may also notify the authors' institutions or relevant academic bodies.

Author Responsibilities

  1. Proper Citation: Authors must accurately cite all sources and ensure that all contributions are properly acknowledged.

  2. Originality: Manuscripts submitted must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Reporting Plagiarism

  1. Responsibility: If plagiarism is suspected, readers, reviewers, or authors should report it to the editorial team with evidence.

  2. Investigation: The editorial team will investigate reports of plagiarism and take appropriate action based on the findings.

The peer review and plagiarism policies of our journal are designed to uphold the integrity and quality of the research published. Adherence to these policies is essential for maintaining the trust and respect of the academic community.
